I’m quite excited about this one. Set roughly in the same universe as Wikimoku, Millennium Surfing is an enormous leap into humanity’s future, courtesy of a jaded sort-of time traveler. It employs only slight dubious science to catapult the protagonist through the entire future history of mankind, which, as you can imagine, is rather fun to explore.
Originally intended to be a proper short story, it’s currently ballooning into something a little larger but I think it’ll be worthwhile. The goal initially was to use the short story as a proof-of-concept before turning it into a screenplay and a short film, though I think the short story will stand on its own quite nicely as well.
